Chances are, you’ve seen their trucks driving up and down the Wasatch Front. Even greater chance you’ve seen a sign, large vinyl banner, or used some type of plastic device that’s come out of their warehouse.

Regional Supply has been a Utah company for over 70 years! Since the company was founded in 1946, Regional Supply has continued to diversify and expand to meet market needs. In 1959, a new subsidiary corporation was organized called Plastic Fabricating and Supply. As the two companies grew, they decided to create another subsidiary called American Label Company, which was founded in 1967.

Outgrowing their building in South Salt Lake and with a lease up earlier this year, owner David Fisher knew a move and expansion was inevitable. Fisher says he definitely shopped around for the ideal location to move his headquarters, looking from the Point of the Mountain to the International Center west of the airport, and everywhere in between. When all was said and done, Fisher says the west side of Salt Lake City was a no-brainer.

“With our tremendous growth over the past few years, we have really been in need of more space,” says Fisher. “As we began to look for solutions, we had some attractive options all along the Wasatch Front, but are very happy that we chose a location in Salt Lake City. We love this city and all of the opportunities that are here for us.”

“Salt Lake City has a growing manufacturing, logistics, and distribution sector since we are so strategically located as the “Crossroads of the West,” adds Salt Lake City Department of Economic Director (SLC DED) Lara Fritts. She continues, “We are thrilled that Regional Supply sees the economic advantage to the company, and unparalleled quality of life like our incredible arts and entertainment offerings and access to outdoor recreation for their employees.”

The purchase and remodel of Regional Supply’s new 83,000 sq. ft. building was a significant investment and kept 160 employees in the city. Fisher says, “Our new location and building will help us better serve our existing customer base and allow us to handle new opportunities for all three of our companies that comprise Fisher Group, Regional Supply, Plastic Fabricating, and American Label.”
