Have a pothole on your street?  There’s an app for that. No, really… there is! As a business owner, we know there aren’t enough hours in a day to get everything done that you need to, but some apps can help save time. For starters, have you tried SLC’s Mobile App?

Service Requests

When your business needs city services, use the SLC Mobile App to report and resolve them more quickly. Simply snap and upload, then get on with your day.

The service requests are sent directly to the correct departments and individuals responsible for resolving the issues, rather than being lined up in a queue for further examination.  If the report is regarding potholes, it will go directly to the public works department.  You are then notified when the issue has been reported, then resolved ….without having to follow up.

Here are some examples of how businesses like yours are using the “Service Requests” feature:

Has your neighbor already reported the issue? You can also get a map of all of the current service requests throughout Salt Lake City that were submitted using the SLC Mobile Service Request System. With your mouse, hover over any of the pins on the map for detailed information about each request.

Although SLC Mobile is a great tool for most requests, it isn’t intended for reporting emergency issues that need to be addressed immediately. If the issue you are reporting is a public safety emergency, please call 911. If the issue you are reporting is a water or sewer emergency, please call 801 483-6700  this is a 24 hour number, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. For street lighting emergencies please call 801 483-6738.

Need Help with Parking?

SLC Mobile App can also help with parking.  There are over 30,000 spots in and around the downtown core – the app will help you find where to park in garages, lots or on the street. You can also learn how to find and pay for parking with an app and how to use meter pay stations.

Ever since the implementation of SLC Mobile, the reporting platform has been improving how the city delivers services to its neighborhoods.  SLC Mobile also connects you with Be Ready SLC, Latest News, Open City Hall, City Planning’s Open Counter (URL) several interactive maps, and so much more.
