The long-awaited 2018 Twilight Concert starts this week and it’s as star-packed as ever. This year it returns once again to the Gallivan Center and we couldn’t be more excited.
Thanks to the hard work and commitment of Broadway Media, support from Salt Lake Community College, and a one-year pilot partnership with the Arts Council, Twilight will continue as one of Salt Lake’s most anticipated summer events for 2018.
The Thursday night tradition continues for the bargain price of $10.00 with concert dates set to run August 16, 23, and 30, and September 6 and 13. Gallivan’s intimate setting is smaller than Pioneer Park and ticket sales will be limited –so plan ahead. It would be wise to purchase tickets well in advance of each concert date at www.twilightconcerts.com.
The quality of the concert experience will be higher than what patrons came to expect – including mass transit, more parking options, and a greater variety of bar and dining experiences. Gallivan is along a Trax stop and organizers will also dedicate an area for Lyft pickup and drop-off as well as a large bike entrance with a full bike valet service.
Here is this year’s lineup:
Aug. 16: Diplo
Aug. 23: Robert DeLong
Aug. 30: Moon Taxi
Sept. 6: DJ Snoopadelic (a.k.a. Snoop Dogg)
Sept. 13: King Princess, Flora Cash
Now in its 31st year, the Salt Lake City Arts Council and Foundation is proud of its hard work building this phenomenal program and what it brings to our City.
As a business owner, you can help keep the tradition alive by becoming a sponsor or purchase a season pass for your employees.
Not only is the Twilight Concert Series an incredible and affordable arts program accessible to everyone, it has shown to be a tool to attract and retain high-quality companies and workforce talent in SLC. Recent survey results revealed thousands of employees in Salt Lake City value access to the arts.
Twilight is, without a doubt, one of the things that we love about Salt Lake City.
