UPDATE: While the original post date of this article was November of 2019, all of the information remains even more relevant today, especially in a time of need post-protest damage to our community. All services and features are here to serve you. Should you want to volunteer to help with any cleanup, go to Salt Lake City’s Public Lands Volunteer Interest Form here

Salt Lake City realizes that helping small businesses keep a clean, safe, secure and welcoming environment must be a community effort. That is why we created the SLC Mobile App.

Have a pothole on your street? Simply snap and upload, then get on with your day. No, really… it’s that easy! As a business owner, we know there aren’t enough hours in a day to get everything done that you need to, and this is one app worthy of adding to your phone.

Speaking of reporting, staying vigilant about it is key and the way to long term funding. In other words, if the problem is not consistently reported there isn’t a trail to justify future efforts, attention, and even budget to service the need.

Service Requests

The service requests are sent directly to the correct departments and individuals responsible for resolving the issues, rather than being lined up in a queue for further examination.  If the report is regarding potholes, it will go directly to the public works department.  You are then notified when the issue has been reported, then resolved ….without having to follow up.

Here are some examples of how businesses like yours are using the “Service Requests” feature:
