Hey Brown Bag fans, the Salt Lake City Arts Council has revamped the 2020 Brown Bag Concert Series to work more closely with Salt Lake City’s business community – so close, they’re bringing the program indoors and closer to your neighborhood! Check out what is playing in January and February.

For over 40 years, the Brown Bag Concert Series has delivered FREE music to Salt Lake City at the lunch hour, mostly outdoors during the summer at lunchtime at City Creek, Exchange Place, Library Square and Gateway. A lot has changed over those 40 years, including how we spend our free time and enjoy downtown Salt Lake City.  This year is an experiment of sorts – one that brings the concert indoors to our neighborhood coffee shops, restaurants, bars and breweries.

And not just downtown, but the series is committed to showcasing and supporting local artists and their professional development, as well as generating vibrancy throughout the city in geographically diverse areas.

It’s a beautiful collaboration of the Arts Council and our Small Business Development team.
