The Salt Lake City Department of Economic Development’s mission is to build Salt Lake City as a vibrant, beautiful, prosperous, and authentic place.  We do this through a professional organization, business development, arts and culture, place-making, revitalization and redevelopment, while promoting the City’s many attributes.  This will be accomplished by working together with public, non-profit and private sectors.
